YOKOGAWA changes its name to YDK Technologies

Yokogawa Denshikiki Co., Ltd. will change its name and logo from October 2020

Yokogawa Denshikiki Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that the company name and logo mark will be changed in October 2020, after its merge with Higaki Sangyo Co.

Higaki Sangyo Co is a company that is engaging in a variety of businesses including the sale of steel and other shipbuilding materials and the maintenance of shipyard machinery.

Yokogawa, since its founding in 1960, has played a leading role in the development and production of top-quality navigation equipment such as gyrocompasses, autopilots and electromagnetic logs, and have been pursuing “Realization of Corporate Philosophy and Implementation of Action Guidelines” providing high-quality products and services. They have made an effort to serve customers and society. With this aim of further growth, Yokogawa has changed its name to “YDK Technologies, Inc.” merging with Higaki, and becoming a “company that provides attractive solutions that fuse technological capabilities as a trust partner for solving problems to support people’s safety”.

Both companies share a common interest in promoting research and development in our marine business, so with their combined expertise and knowledge, even more complete and diverse marine solutions will be available.

In the context of this merge, Yokogawa Denshikiki Co., Ltd. will be renamed YDK Technologies, and also a new logo will be launched from 1st October 2020.
